Update

Well, the Crossover Fest ROCKED! Barlow Girl was AWESOME and so was Jeremy Camp. You could really tell the Spirit filled bands. And let me tell you there was one that wasn't. They are called Jael. And didn't say anything hardly. No testimony....nothing. Then I heard House of Thomas. Which were awesome too. They were staying at our hotel and I got to talk to the lead singer. It was so cool:)! That weekend was the highlight of my summer. Well really, it's all I really get to do.

I have surgery scheduled on my other hip July 11th. I had labral tears in both hips. My left one was repaired in April and now my right will be done. I will have had 4 stinkin' surgeries in a little over a year and a half. 1. laproscopy to diagnose endometriosis 2. Hysterectomy 3. left hip arthroscopy 4. right hip arthroscopy. And I also had melanoma (skin cancer) in 2004. I swear, by the time I'm 30 there will be nothing left to fix:)! I'm sure that God has me in His arms though. I know I can just add all these things to my testemony. And I'm always happy to do that! My oldest Ellie is my little prayer warrior. She was praying for me even when I was diagnosed with cancer and she was only 3. She would pray, "Jesus, please don't take my mommy right now. I love her and I need her so much right now. Please make her better, Amen." Ahhh, from the mouths of babes........

Summertime!!!!

I'm so excited it's summer. Ellie has been out of school for a week now. Abby LOVES having sissy here all day. We literally have something planned every weekend from tonight until the 2nd week in July. Whew! We are most excited about going to the Crossover Festival in Camdenton. It's a huge Christian Music outdoor concert. Kind of a Christian Woodstock of sorts:)! We are going to camp and rock out with our girls. The girls and I LOVE Barlow Girl. And Skillet and Downhere are awesome too. We want to raise them showing how much fun being a Christian is. He's our Heavenly Father and dad's usually want to have fun family time with their children, right?!

I hope everyone has a safe and fun Memorial Day Weekend!!
